Lewis & Lewis Educational & Developmental Psychology Postgraduate Research Award

The Lewis & Lewis Award has been established to foster applied research within the field of Educational and Developmental Psychology. The award recognises outstanding potential in student research. The award is provided to assist a student through the final phase of their academic study and in the production and dissemination of the high quality, applied research component of that study.

The award is for $5000 to be distributed over three years.

Applications for the 2011 Lewis & Lewis Award will open on 25/07/2011 and close 02/11/2011.

One week after the closing of nominations a Committee, including independent CEDP committee members adjudicate the winner of the Award.

Winner Announced
The winner of the 2010 Lewis & Lewis Award is Alana Deery from the University of Melbourne. Alana’s research will look at school attachment and depression in adolescents and the relationship between school disconnection and depression using data from the Australian Temperament Project.
