Lewis & Lewis provide a wide range of Psychological and Speech Pathology services throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria. These services can be accessed through the Program for Students with Disabilities and also on a private basis.

Program for Students with Disabilities
For many years, Lewis & Lewis has provided cognitive and language assessments for various government disability programs throughout Victoria.

Lewis & Lewis assess many students who are referred to us with significant language problems or suspected intellectual disability.

These assessments are usually administered at the student’s school and feedback to parents and school personnel is normally provided immediately after the assessment. All assessments are performed by qualified and experienced personnel. Reports are delivered promptly and contain practical recommendations for both parents and teachers.

Private Assessments
Lewis & Lewis also provide a private assessment service, referrals can be made by parents, teachers or paediatricians.

The highly experienced Speech Pathology Team at Lewis & Lewis provide a vast array of services for the range of communication disorders that affect children, young adults and adults.

Counselling
Lewis & Lewis provides a counselling service with qualified and experienced psychologists supporting school age children, young people and adults.

We have registered and experienced psychologists who provide a counselling service for individuals in a variety of specialist areas.

Cogmed
Cogmed improves working memory—the vital component of focus, attention and learning. It is an adaptive computer training program based on each user’s current situation.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Outreach Program
Lewis & Lewis are pleased to announce the introduction of a new service for schools supporting students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) including Asperger’s Syndrome.

Lewis & Lewis staff will now be offering specific school based programs for students with ASD.

Locum Services
Schools seeking Locum Services can access Lewis & Lewis psychologists and speech pathologists to fill short or long term placements. Please contact us if you would like to discuss any aspect of this service.

Student Welfare
Lewis & Lewis has been accepted as a potential funding recipient for the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program
