The highly experienced Speech Pathology Team at Lewis & Lewis provide a vast array of services for the range of communication disorders that affect children, young adults and adults.

Private Clinic
At our private clinic in Brunswick or by arrangement at a school or workplace our speech pathologists provide the following services:

  • Individual assessment/diagnosis, treatment and review of communication disorders. These may include: speech/articulation, language, fluency and voice disorders.
  • Individual or group programs may be provided
  • Individual assessment and treatment for young children who present with delays in their development
  • Consultation with schools and Preschool settings if required

In School Private Clinic
Lewis & Lewis offer schools a specialised and direct speech pathology service that delivers one to one speech and/or language therapy within the school setting including feedback to classroom teachers, parents and home practice tasks.

This service is offered across the three education sectors (i.e. State, Catholic and Independent).

This service is dependent on the number of student referrals.

Assessment Service
Lewis & Lewis is committed to the provision of a comprehensive range of Speech Pathology assessments to meet the needs of children and adolescents.

Assessment services provided include:

  • Speech, oral language and/or pragmatic assessments for seeking school-based funding support;
  • Speech and/or oral language assessments to assist individual educational program development

In relation to service support of school-aged students, our team of Speech Pathologists are experienced in working across the three education sectors (i.e. State, Catholic and Independent).

Locum Service
Lewis & Lewis provide speech pathology locum services to schools (and other organisations) while someone is on leave, until a permanent employee is secured, or to provide a service where none exists in a community.

Our locum service is designed to complement rather than compete with other services already in place.
